The best thing about this story was the sex (during Cage's POV was the best). Bristol was an ok character, she didn't wallow but she really just didn't have much depth. I can't wrap my head around people who wallow. The story line was a little dull and predictable and I probably would have enjoyed it so much more if the self pity was not such a huge part. I don't know if that was the way the author's writing portrayed him or if that was Alex Kydd's narration but I'm leaning towards the narration. Cage comes across as an arrogant, self-centered dirty talking guy during most of the story but the chapters that are Cage's POV, Alex makes Cage into a slightly deeper more sincere guy with issues. Amy Melissa Bentley did a good job, it's not that, it's just that Alex actually portrayed Gage in a completely different light, a much better light in my opinion.
